Service the UPS while maintaining the IT load. When installed on top of the UPS, the service bypass unit allows utility power to bypass the UPS. Lock out tag out feature to prevent unintended bypass of the UPS.
Compatible will all Smart-UPS Modular Ultra's, the Service Bypass Unit maintains utility power to your connected load when the UPS is being services. Adding an APC Smart-UPS Modular Ultra Service Bypass Unit add another layer of redundancy to your Smart-UPS Modular Ultra UPS. Featuring an improved design from its predecessor (Symmetra LX) the new and improved design features an easy-access terminal to perform testing in the front of the unit.
